Medical research charities’ key concerns about changes to regulation

You’ll remember back in January the Academy of Medical Sciences published a snapshot of how medical research is regulated and governed in the UK and recommendations on how this can be improved, called A new pathway for the regulation and governance of health research.

In addition to the quick summary I posted when it first came out, AMRC have now produced a more detailed briefing on this report and what it means. This summarises what the report covers and its main recommendations but also includes the key issues for us as medical research charities that we have picked out from conversations with people across medical research. You can check it out here.
